​The starting signal that inaugurates the fifth edition of SYMUN

The doors are reopened for the fifth edition of SYMUN. The presentation of this edition has been carried on by the president of Anudi, Juliana Sanz; the vice-dean for guidance, promotion and cooperation, Celía María Caamiña; your excellency the ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Juan Bolívar Díaz; and our great general secretary, Carolina Sánchez and Julia Requejo. Without them anyting of this could be possible. Their great, warm and motivational words have inaugurated SYMUN.

After a lot of struggles to get out of the Aula Magna and trying to arrive at their respective classroom, the workshop began. The three chairs of DISEC introduced themselves, so the delegates, staff and press. Then, they explained to the delegates how they have to choose the topics of the debates, the debates themselves, the moderated and unmoderated caucus, the gossips and more.

Even one of the chairs, Laura, has come back to her delegate era. She tried to clarify some questions of the delegates by interpreting a delegate in the middle of an intervention. All the persons in the room could feel the love and effort that the delegates put into this committee and simulation.

When the workshop finished every committee and press member went to the cocktail, in the cafeteria of the campus. There was a great and friendly atmosphere, and a lot of food and soft drinks to enjoy. It’s pretty sure that a lot of friendships are borning, and fellowship is evident at a glance. This new edition is going to change a lot of lives, is going to apport create a lot of wonderful experiences. Is going to encourage ourselves to be a better society and individual. Remember: “if you are in this college on a Friday, you are pretty special”, said by Celia María Caamiña in the opening ceremony.
